  • ITAC Assets Management System is a total hardware and software solution that manages and tracks the valuable items in governmental, bank, airport, manufacturing, postal, and other organizations. This system provides management of fixed assets with many of the features and characteristics that make the following-up of fixed assets of the company at any stage of the life of the asset process easy.

    System Components:

  • Fixed Assets Management System with integrated barcode printing software
  • Intermec hand-held computer with integrated Barcode Reader
  • Intermec barcode printer (Desktop or heavy-duty printer depending on the asset's volume).
  • Parameterized System Allows The Following:

  • Define asset's categories, types and classes
  • Create master card for each asset and sub card which contains detailed financial & administrative information about the asset Allocate assets according to branch, department, and section
  • Define and allocate the custody of each employee
  • Define and maintain vendor's information
  • Define asset's depreciation percentage based on asset type and asset location
  • Stop depreciation calculation of assets upon reaching end of depreciation limit which is predefined as a system parameter

  • Assets Reports:

  • Different types of reports can be generated according to a chosen class, type, category, location, status, number, employee, etc. These reports will have different layouts for daily, monthly, and annual transactions and will contain different fields that define the asset. Discrepancy reports can also be generated based on the asset tracking process.

    Fixed Assets System has an integrated module to manage the data flow with the portable application. Either the customer has an ITAC Back office System or his own system. This module has the following features:

  • Define hand-held system users and assigning privileges to them (User, Supervisor, and/or Admin).
  • Access assets database and generate data files to be downloaded to hand-held application.
  • Transfer data files to hand-held.
  • Receive generated transaction files from hand-held.
  • Insert transactions into assets database for later reporting.
  • Assets Tracking Hand-Held Application:

    This application will have the following functionalities:

  • Logging in by user ID and password, where security privileges will be applied based on user type as follows:
  • - User: Book quantities will not be displayed during assets counting.

    - Supervisor: Book quantities will be displayed during assets counting.

    - Admin: This user can only perform data transfer from PC to hand-held and vice versa.

  • Entering Store ID: Either by barcode scanning or direct entry through the hand-held keyboard.
  • Scan Assets Barcode by using handheld computer.
  • The system displays the assets description on the hand-held screen.
  • Transferring data to and from PC (Admin)
